Bibs

Terms of use

Last updated 4 September 2026

These are the rules for using the Bibs app and website, run by Euan Grant, based in Scotland. By creating an account you agree to them. They're written to be read, not to trip you up.

Your account

Playing nicely

Bibs is for organising football with people you play with. Don't use it to harass, threaten or abuse anyone, to send spam, or to share anything illegal or that you don't have the right to share. Game admins can remove people from their games, and we can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Games and venues

Bibs helps people organise games; it doesn't run them. Whoever organises a game is responsible for booking the pitch and for what happens at it. Play football at your own risk, and take the same care you would for any game you'd arranged over a group chat. Venues listed on Bibs are independent businesses, and any booking or payment with a venue is between you and them.

The Captain plan

Venue listings

Venues are set up by us under a separate agreement made by email, priced per pitch per month, monthly rolling. That agreement takes priority over these terms for anything it covers.

Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you shared it with, which is what it takes to run a chat. Don't post other people's photos or messages without their say-so.

Ending things

You can delete your account whenever you like from the app or by emailing support@bibs.football. We can end or change the service with reasonable notice, and we'll refund any unused part of a plan we can't honour, via Apple.

The legal bit

We provide Bibs as it is. We'll do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we're not responsible for losses that come from relying on it, from a game being cancelled, or from anything that happens at a game. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
